Polydactyly

Polydactyly is probably the most common congenital hand anomaly. Polydactyly may affect both fingers and toes. On the hand polydactyly may be preaxial (affecting the thumb) or postaxial (affecting the little finger) and least commonly may involve the central portion of the hand.
